Empowering Youth Today (EYT) is a positive youth development program for youth grades 5-8th that engages youth with the family, school and community, while promoting the benefits of delaying sexual activity and other risky behaviors. Through the Real Essentials curriculum, students will learn what healthy relationships look like and how to set boundaries. Students who are enrolled in the EYT program have an opportunity to participate in a Community Service-Learning project, an adult-guided but youth-led project to help youth learn and develop through active participation in organized service.
